The Role
The
Administration MSR – Reception is responsible for acting as Receptionist for Corporate
Office, processing bill payments and completing other administrative tasks
while providing excellent service to internal and external clients.
- Greet and assist visitors, members and staff attending Corporate Office in a polite and professional manner ensuring they sign in/out
- Promptly answer the telephone and assist callers to Corporate Office and other departments
- Promptly respond to internal and external client inquiries and/or problems in a courteous and efficient manner
- Receive and distribute incoming mail ensuring cheques are recorded as received; arrange for external courier services
- Process bill payment traces, rejects and notify branch staff of outcomes and charge fees to members as applicable
- Prepare and sign monthly reconciliations of defined internal and GL accounts as they relate to bill payments and network balancing
- Download, reconcile, post and balance Everlink and ATM journal files
- Process all incoming ATM credit and debit adjustments and investigate and correct ATM errors as required
- Assist branch staff with ATM Settlement Reports and processing external deposits in accordance with Canadian Exchange Network Operating Rules
- Upload monthly statements and distribute incorrectly addressed statements to the proper branches
- Maintain bill vendors list as required
- Be cross-trained to assist colleagues in administration unit as required

What we are looking for
- Post-secondary education in business, business administration, finance, accounting or a related field or a high school diploma with three (3) years’ experience
- Previous experience in a financial institution preferred
- Knowledge of branch processes
- Must be bondable
