The Role
The Summer Student Member Service
Representative (MSR) demonstrates a strong passion for customer service. The
Summer Student MSR provides courteous member service not only by processing
member’s financial transactions, but by cross selling (or referring) our full
range of products and services at every opportunity, ensuring that our members
expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- process members’ transactional requests (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.) in branch
- provide in branch member service through telephone inquiries
- balance ATM when requested
- promptly respond to member inquires/problems in a courteous and efficient manner
- uncover members’ needs, and assist members to utilize the products or services

What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, and returning to post-secondary in the fall (preferably business, finance or a related program)
- Self-starter who works proactively to ensure needs of members are met and works as a team player
- Ability to communicate clearly with both employees and members
- Professional conduct and appearance
- Must be computer literate, have an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and a willingness and ability to learn and utilize YNCU’s banking system, applications, platforms, and emerging technologies
- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable available vehicle
- Must be bondable
Term Length: 4 months

End Date: August 29th, 2025
Base Rate of Pay $24.95 Hourly
To be considered for this opportunity you must be available Monday –
Friday between the hours of 8:45AM – 6:00PM.
