JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Chief Digital Information and Marketing Officer, the Vice President of Marketing is a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies designed to achieve the credit union’s growth objectives, enhance member engagement, and strengthen brand awareness. 
The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of success in digital marketing, data analytics, and member-centric marketing initiatives, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for serving our members and community.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning across all channels, enhancing brand recognition, reputation and market presence
Member Engagement: Leverage data analytics, market research, and segmentation strategies to improve member experience, increase engagement, attract new customers and improve retention
Digital Marketing: Oversee and innovate digital marketing strategies, encompassing website optimization, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and marketing automation, to drive growth through the generation of leads and opportunities 
Marketing Segmentation: Develop and execute data-driven segmentation strategies to deliver targeted and personalized marketing campaigns tailored to specific demographics and attributes
Digital Experiences: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize compelling digital experiences across all platforms, focusing on enhancing member interactions, driving engagement, and improving the overall user journey
Product Marketing: Partner with internal stakeholders to create compelling marketing campaigns that showcase the value and benefits of products and services to potential and existing members
Budget & Performance Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget while tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
Regulatory Compliance: Proactively ensure all marketing and communication materials and strategies are in full compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
•Manage departmental workflow and keep projects and tasks remain within scope with the support of the Marketing team
•Oversee the collaboration and communication between third-party providers, including the agency of record, and internal departments, such as IT and Member Experience, and communications, ensuring seamless integration of their efforts and the successful execution of large-scale projects from initiation to completion
Leadership: Accountable for the overall leadership, supervision, coaching and development of direct reports to deliver on outcomes for the strategic vision 
•Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
●Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, business, communications, or a related program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration is preferred
●Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive marketing experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role, preferably within the financial services industry
●Understanding of CASL and AODA compliance requirements
●Must be bondable
